Tell me a bit more about yourself?
I’m still working on trying to grow up. I might always have that child in me. Love being active, can’t sit still for long periods. Might be the ADHD, haha.
I can spend hours chatting and playing sport with my wife and kids.
When is your birthday? (No need to give the year
11 January 1974

How long have you been in the industry?
27 years

Why did you choose hairdressing?
It somehow happened organically. Cut a friend’s hair when I was 15 (possibly the worst haircut in the world), but he seemed to like it and before I l knew it I was cutting a few people’s hair. Was going to study IT but then in my gap year I helped at a salon at the waterfront on weekends. Well, the rest is history, here I am 27 years in and still at it.

What are some of the biggest things/people you’ve worked on and what would you say are some of your greatest achievements?
Raising my 4 kids. That has to be an achievement right?
On a more serious note, I worked on many international and local stars, celebrities, TV personalities and many influencers, namely, Kate Moss, J-Lo and Daniel Pascal  when they in Cape Town for launches. Michelle McLean, Lee-Ann Liebenberg and Amy Kleinhans to name a few.

What is your favourite service you offer?
Colour and cuts. I was trained by a meticulous hairstylist that took nearly 2 hours just to cut his clients hair.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Client satisfaction. It always gets me:)

What is your favourite era?
60’s. Who else doesn’t love the 60’s. What an amazing time that would have been to be part of.

If you can choose to have dinner with anyone that has inspired you, (anyone from your mom/dad to Mandela or mother Teresa), who would that be?
Bruce Lee

I think the hottest person in the world is? (don’t tell my spouse)

Tell me a bit more about yourself?
Hello! Born and bred Cape Town girl. I’m always down for some fun and giggles.
Don’t fret if you initially see me and I seem ‘oh so serious’, That’s just my face, haha.
I am always looking to improve my skills. I am a strong believer in on going education. It’s the key to staying up to date with new trends.

When is your birthday?
11 March 1993

How long have you been in the industry?
I studied full time for 3 years at college of Cape Town. Thereafter, I completed a 1 year apprenticeship and I’ve been a been a qualified stylist for the past 5 years.

Why did you choose hairdressing?
I love interacting with people. With hairdressing, i can engage and build relationships with my clients as well as be creative.
I always feel that clients leave my chair with a spring in their step (who doesn’t like a good hairdo, right?). It’s absolutely rewarding to witness this in all its splendor! As a female stylist, I find the most credence with my gents cuts and something that I am uber proud of.
Always up for a good challenge!
